The Committee for Sustainable Retirement Incomes Ltd (CSRI) was established in 2015 and is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ABN 98 604 465 189). We are based in Mosman, New South Wales, and work nationally.
CSRI was created in response to a clear need: a trusted, independent space where the long-term challenges facing Australia's retirement income system could be examined on their merits — beyond short-term politics and sectional interests.
Since then, we have built a reputation as a respected convenor and contributor to retirement income policy, bringing together diverse perspectives in pursuit of the national interest.
To advance the development of a sustainable, adequate and equitable retirement income system for Australia — through independent research, evidence-based analysis and constructive, cross-sector dialogue.
An Australia in which every person can look forward to a secure and dignified retirement, supported by a system that is trusted, fair and built to last.
We are non-partisan and not aligned to any government, party or sector. Our only agenda is the national interest.

CSRI is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). As a not-for-profit, all of our work is directed towards our charitable purpose, and we maintain our independence in everything we do.
